5.0 out of 5 starsBEHAVIOR MODIFICATION OF A CHURCH MOUSE

I enjoyed this beginning to a new series that takes place in New Orleans. Katrina Aftermath is a restaurant and becomes the video playground for two cousins and a friend. They hide at a booth and capture the breakups and then post them on You Tube under the name of Real Reality TV. What happens when naïve Mary Elizabeth loses it and approaches the table of a man they have dubbed Hotbuns and the women he is with? Shock, confusion, anger, and revenge are all in play. The date leaves, Mary Elizabeth, is trapped in the booth, and before she knows it, finds herself being carried out of the restaurant over the shoulders of the man. Fate has a way of bringing two people together. Everett Schnaydre is a man with plans; he is methodical, organized, and a nerd. Mary Elizabeth Langois is petite, quiet, plays the church organ and is a librarian at the church school. She lost both her parents in an accident and is still a virgin. As Everett and Mary start dating, he has everything planned out in stages of each week, each month with long term goals. He introduces her to domestic discipline and eventually sex. The story is full of humor, between his plans and her curiosity, they make a perfect couple. I look forward to the next story in this series.

5.0 out of 5 starsMary Elizabeth and Hotbuns

I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book. Mary Elizabeth is a good, devout girl..until she is with her wild cousin Claire. They and her friend, Jenny, film breakups and put them on the net. They really like to film Everrett Schnaydre, otherwise known as hotbuns. Everrett has been watching Mary Elizabeth for a while never knowing she was filming his breakups. Very cute story. HEA

4.0 out of 5 starsCute and witty

A cute, short, witty story about a woman who gets caught secretly taping a man she refers to as “Hotbuns”. I wasn’t sure if I would like this story, but found myself laughing out loud and thoroughly enjoying the humor and wit. Everett and Mary Elizabeth were a cute couple. He was dominant without being a jerk, and I loved his quirkiness with needing lists and everything planned out! Mary Elizabeth was a hoot – her naiveté was charming and adorable. Not a whole lot of plot, but an enjoyable read. I am looking forward to the next one in the series. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader copy of this book.

5.0 out of 5 starshotbuns and the church mouse

I loved this sweet and innocent s”y of the “nerdy Hotbuns” and the innocent ” church mouse”. If you are looking or explicit rough and erotic, this is not the book for you. If you are looking for a sweet love story that isn’t dry but also includes Domestic Discipline, this is it. I loved it. I loved the innocence and the nerdiness of the characters. I wasn’t sure when I first started reading if it was going to be realistic or not. It was a perfect fantasy I enjoyed. I look forward to the next book in this series. I received an advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

5.0 out of 5 starsFunny and Trouble with a capital T

This book is funny, innovating and just a great read. Trouble with a capital T as 3 young ladies Claire, Jenny and Mary Elizabeth all cousins get into the most funny of situations including filming of unknown participants. Mary Elizabeth meets Everett and the rest is just funny. Everett is the type of man that has to plan things out on a schedule really endearing even it they don’t stay on that schedule. The rest is all history.

4.0 out of 5 starsA quick enjoyable read

Bymadpusson January 1, 2017

Mary Elizabeth was innocent and sweet but quite forward. Everett came across as innocent sometimes also with all the research he kept doing on everything. That and his complete need for planning to the very last detail made for a cute and amusing short story. A quick enjoyable read. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book
